Physicians considering a sale or merger of their practice are faced with a myriad of challenges including an increasingly complex transactional and regulatory environment, evolving compensation models and deal structures, and an overwhelming amount of information (and misinformation) regarding how their practice will be valued.
At this year's Physicians Legal Issues Conference I am proud to join Emily Tremmel, Esq. for a session addressing the Myth of the Multiple - the real financial and compliance considerations that determine fair market value and deal price. In this session we will dispense with the watercooler talk heard in physician lounges and provide physicians with practical takeaways to better understand deal jargon, key compliance considerations and pitfall, and the underlying financial, economic and risk factors that impact the transaction.
